VIP Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Start and closing time:

The July prize draw opens 09:01 on Friday 1st July 2022 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 31st July 2022 (“prize draw period”)

How to Enter:

STV Player VIPs only.

The prize draw is exclusive to VIPs who are signed up, signed in, and stream on demand programmes.

STV Player VIPs signed into the STV Player will be entered automatically into the VIP £5K prize draw every time a programme, with a duration of at least 20 minutes, is watched from our ‘on-demand’ STV Player catalogue within the prize draw period.

The Prize:

£5,000

The prize will be delivered within 30 days of acceptance. Delivery of the prize monies will be by cheque to your home address, or by bank transfer to your bank account, as agreed with you on acceptance.

You must provide full details of your address and your bank account (for bank transfers only) to enable validation and delivery of the prize.

Conditions:

• Entrants must be aged 18 or over who reside in the UK.

• Entrants must be signed in whilst streaming programmes from the ‘on demand’ catalogue on the STV Player.

• Entries will only be included for programmes viewed whilst registered with a VIP status ( i.e. marketing email preferences set to opt-in).

• Entries will only be included for programmes with a running time of 20 minutes or more and where viewed for at least 20 minutes or more.

Exclusions:

• Excludes STV Player viewed on any platform where you are not, or cannot sign in, namely whilst viewing on Sky.

• Excludes adverts, advertorials, and programmes with a running time of less than 20 minutes.

• Excludes programmes available to “Watch Live”, the STV Player Channel 3 simulcast service.

• Excludes STV employees and immediate family members and any live-in partners.

Winner Selection and Notification:

• The winning STV VIP customers for the month specified in the promotional material will be selected at random from all qualifying entries by the end of August 2022.

• An email will be sent to the winner using the email address registered for the STV Player (“email notification”).

• The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 5 working days of the date of the email notification by sending an email response to ‘enquiries@stv.tv (headed July £5K prize draw).

• In the event that the winner does not respond or rejects the prize, STV may, at it’s sole discretion select another winner (chosen at random from all qualifying entries) or cancel the prize draw.

• The winners surname and county will be retained by STV for 6 months and will be made available on request.
