Specific Rules

  1. This competition is open to Scottish residents aged 16 years or over. Proof of age, identity and eligibility will be requested.
  2. No persons, including their immediate families, connected with the administration of this competition and/or employed by STV or Abellio ScotRail are eligible to enter.
  3. The winner will be contacted by STV within 5 days of the closing date.
  4. The winner will be given 7 days to respond. If they do not respond to STV within the timeframe, a new winner will be selected.
  5. Winners will thereafter be contacted by the ScotRail customer care team who will supply a case reference number – this will be required by the winner to fulfil their prize.
  6. The prize can only be provided via Smartcard. If the winner already has a Smartcard, the details for the route and dates of your choice will be loaded on by the ScotRail customer care team. If the winner does not have a Smartcard, they will have to apply for a ScotRail Smartcard on the ScotRail website.
  7. Registration for Smartcard can take 5 days so the season ticket will only be valid for dates after the Smartcard registration period and on receipt of the Smartcard.
  8. The annual season ticket can commence on any date in the month and runs for one calendar year.
  9. The season ticket is valid on ScotRail services only, and on routes where season tickets are in place.
  10. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
  11. The prize provider of this competition is Abellio Scotrail, registered office 5th Floor, Culzean Building 36 Renfield Street Glasgow G2 1LU.
