BOOK lovers in Glasgow are in for a treat – a set of ten books recommended by The Zoe Ball Book Club is up for grabs worth £89, courtesy of Specsavers in Glasgow and STV.

The Zoe Ball Book Club, in association with Specsavers, will be broadcast on ITV1 throughout the summer, with Zoe reviewing an eclectic range of titles alongside celebrity guests.

The titles are: A Necessary Evil by Abir Mukherjee, A Sealwoman’s Gift by Sally Magnusson, Killer Intent by Tony Kent, The Silent Companions by Laura Purcell, I AM, I AM, I AM by Maggie O’Farrell, The Man I Think I Know by Mike Gayle, The Summer of Impossible Things by Rowan Colman and This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay.

Zoe Ball says: ‘I’m so excited to read all the brilliant titles on our list, and can’t wait to chat about each and every one of them with my wonderful guests and hear what viewers across the country think too – we’ll have a wide range of books that should hopefully encourage everyone to try something new!’

David Quigley, store director at Specsavers Glasgow says: ‘There is an obvious connection between reading and glasses and many of our customers enjoy nothing better than losing themselves in a good book, myself included! I am delighted that Specsavers is supporting the TV Book Club.’
