Terms and Conditions

Competition Terms 1. This free to enter "STV Football Challenge" competition (the "Competition") is promoted, operated and hosted at https://ltbc (the "Website") by STV Central LTD (“STV Central”, "we", "us", "our") a limited company registered in United Kingdom with registered company number SC172149 and whose registered office is 120 Pacific Quay Glasgow G51 1PQ.

How does the Competition work?

1. Subject to these terms and conditions ("Competition Terms") the Competition jackpot prize set out on the "Home" page of the Website ("Home Page") ("Jackpot Prize") will be awarded to the entrant who correctly predicts the most correct scores in each of the 6 football matches listed on the "Enter" page on the Website ("Matches").

2. The Competition will run from the start date and time specified on the Home Page ("Opening Date") until the "count down" timer displayed on the Home Page reaches 00:00:00 (being the time immediately before the first of the Competition begins) ("Closing Date"). All Competition entries must be submitted via the App or the Website (by following the instructions below) by no later than the Closing Date. All Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3. If any Match does not play or is abandoned then that match will be excluded from that weeks Matches. No replacement match will be provided.

4. If any match involves extra time or penalties, the correct score will be determined at the end of normal 90 minutes play.

How can you take part in the Competition?

1. In order to enter the Competition, before the Closing Date you will need to:

a) register for the Competition by:

1. if you are an existing player of the game, clicking on the "Log In" button on the Home Page, entering your Account username and password and clicking "Log In",

2. if you are not an existing player of the game you need to create an Account by following the instructions on screen then clicking on the "Play Now" button on the Home Page;

3. After you have submitted your entry, you can edit your selections up until the Closing Date. However, after the Closing Date, you will not be permitted to edit your selections.

4. The Competition is free to enter to all entrants. No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Website

5. STV Central will not accept:

a) responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, damaged, delayed in transit or are not received regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind (including where customers are unable to edit their initial selections on the Website due to any of the above reasons); or

b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.

1. By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Competition Terms.

Who is eligible to take part in the Competition?

1. The Competition is only open to residents in Great Britain who are aged 18 years or over, except: a) employees of STV Central LTD; b) anyone else who is professionally connected with the Competition or its administration (including employees of agents or suppliers of STV Central LTD) or c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

2. There is a limit of one entry to the Competition per person.

Jackpot Prize / Consolation Prize

1. The Jackpot Prize will be awarded to the entrant who correctly predicts the most correct score selections. If there are ("Multiple Winners"), then the Jackpot Prize will be awarded to the winning entrant who has entered earliest

2. If no-one correctly predicts any correct scores then all entrants will be entered into a Multiple Winners Draw with the winner chosen at random and awarded the Jackpot.

Winner selection / announcement

1. The Jackpot Prize winner will be determined within one week of the end of the last match to take place ("Determination Date"). The decision of STV Central LTD is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

2. STV Central will contact the Jackpot Prize winner(s) (and Consolation Prize winners, see below), as soon as reasonably practicable after the Determination Date using the email address provided by the entrant when creating their Account

3. If you have won the Jackpot Prize you will be sent a cheque for £1,000 within 14 days after the Determination date

Consolation prizes

1. For each correct Score you match, you will be entitled to receive a £1 free play code via email for the Scottish Children’s Lottery
2. Consolation prizes can be redeemed at scottishchildrenslottery.com by eligible customers aged 18 or over.
3. Registration will be required for those not already registered to play but no deposit is necessary
4. Full details of how to redeem a code will be provided in the winners email
5. There is no requirement to redeem these consolation prizes
6. The Scottish Children’s Lottery reserves the right to remove these consolation prizes by giving notice on the site
7. Free plays must be used by midnight on June 30 or they will become invalid

Winner selection / announcement

1. STV Central will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner(s) of the Jackpot Prize (or Consolation Prizes, as applicable). If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available within 4 weeks of the Determination Date, then STV Central will: a) Redraw a winner based on condition 12 above

Data Protection

1. If you are the winner of the Competition, we may use your name in order to announce the winner of the Competition on the Website. We need to do this in order to comply with the Advertising Standards Authority's requirements under the UK Code of Non-Broadcast Advertising, Sales, Promotion and Direct Marketing (also known as the CAP Code).

General Competition terms

1. If STV Central has any reason to believe that you are in breach of these Competition Terms, STV Central may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition or forfeit any prize to which you would otherwise be entitled.

2. STV Central reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Scottish law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

4. Privacy and Cookie policies are that of STV.
