The Riverside Show is offering five (5) youngsters the chance of a lifetime - to win a trolley dash around Hamleys with the “STV Glasgow Trolley Dash” courtesy of Hamleys and St Enochs.

The winners will be invited to whizz around the world famous toy shop, filling their trolleys as high as possible within the time limit with toys, with help from Hamley’s Helper Elves.

We’ll be filming each trolley dash which will be broadcast on The Riverside Show daily from Monday 8 December to Friday 12 December 2015.

Details about how to enter the competition will be announced on the Riverside Show on Wednesday 26 November.

The Prize

5 Winners will receive a chance to fill a trolley with as many toys as possible within 60 seconds (1 minute).

The Rules

• You must be aged 6-12 years old

• You must live in the Scotland

• You must ask your parent or guardian to agree that you can enter the competition and take part in the trolley dash and appear on TV (and online) if you win the competition

• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative

Competition Dates: 9am on 26 November until 7pm on 4 December 2014

How to Enter

• Send a letter addressed to Santa or Father Christmas

• Tell him why you deserve to go on a Christmas spree

• Include your name and your age

• Include the name and contact details for your parent/guardian (include their telephone number and e-mail address). We’ll need to contact your parent /guardian to check your entry details and to make sure they’re OK with you entering the competition and appearing on TV if you are one of the lucky winners.

• Post the letter to Santa in the STV Glasgow branded post box in the St Enoch’s Centre next to Hamley’s on or before 4 December 2015.

Choosing the Winners

• On Friday 5 September, Santa will visit STV Studios and will choose five letters, at random, from all of the letters posted in the STV Glasgow post box at St Enochs during the competition dates.

• The parent/guardian of the winner(s) will be contacted to make arrangements for the trolley dash and to make sure they’re happy for you to appear on television and on STV’s website.
