To celebrate Scotland hosting The 2014 Ryder Cup, STV has teamed up with VisitScotland to give 12 lucky winners the chance to be a part of this truly brilliant moment.

Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to each of the following:

• The 2014 Ryder Cup Gala Concert at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow on Wednesday 24th September.

This will be the curtain raiser for the tournament and will be a great night for golfers and music fans alike. As well as welcoming both teams on stage for the very first time, you’ll experience unique collaborations with Nile Rodgers, Texas and Amy Macdonald as they perform with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Plus performances by Jake Bugg, Twin Atlantic, Nina Nesbitt, Scottish Ballet, Scottish Opera, National Theatre of Scotland and more.

• The 2014 Ryder Cup practice day and opening ceremony at Gleneagles on Thursday 25th September.

• Plus first match day tickets to The 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles on Friday 26th September.

Specific Rules

  • Competition closes 9am Monday 15th September.
  • Entrants must be 18 or over.
  • Prize does NOT include travel and accommodation and must make their own arrangements.
  • All employees and the immediate families of either VisitScotland (“Promoter”), or its agents or Partners, STV, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
  • Limit one (1) entry per person.
  • Twelve winners will receive the prize. The prize comprises of the following:

A pair of tickets to The 2014 Ryder Cup Gala Concert at the SSE Hyrdro Arena in Glasgow on Wednesday 24th September.
A pair of tickets to The 2014 Ryder Cup practice day and opening ceremony at Gleneagles on Thursday 25th September, including park & ride from Stirling, Perth or Kinross (subject to availability). A pair of match day tickets to The 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles on Friday 26th September, including park & ride from Stirling, Perth or Kinross (subject to availability).

  • The prize must be used in full by 26.09.2014
  • Tickets are non transferable and cannot be sold for cash.
  • Winners must adhere to prize provider’s standard terms and conditions, which can be found at http://www.rydercup.com/europe/TicketTsCs
  • Ryder Cup ticket holders must be aged 5+ only. 5s to 15s must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Registrations details are required to receive Ryder Cup tickets.
  • Your details will be shared with Ryder Cup Europe to inform you of details for this event only.
  • Winners will be contacted within 2 days of the closing date. Due to the timing of this prize, if a winner does not respond within 48 hours of first notification attempt, if any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if the winner does not accept the prize or in the event of non-compliance with these prize draw Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
