To celebrate the release of The Secret Life of Pets, STV and Universal Pictures are giving away a trip to Edinburgh for a family and pet pooch!

PRIZE

The prize for two adults and two children (under 16) and their dog, will include travel by train to Edinburgh, where they will stay in a luxury pet-friendly apartment for two nights.

During your stay, your pet will receive a VIP (Very Important Pet) pampering experience, where they’ll receive a full body groom and pawdicure treatment.

While your pet is being groomed, you and your family will take part in a secret Edinburgh walking tour, where you’ll explore the city’s hidden gems and secret spots.

You’ll also choose a location in Edinburgh to take part in your very own family photo shoot including your pet. You’ll receive a professional print and photo book to take home too.

You’ll also win an Apple iPad Air 1!

Specific Rules

This is an advertisement feature.

  • Ends 9am Monday 27th June.

  • Entrants must be 18 or over.

  • Prize is for a family of four (2 x adults and two children under 16 years) and one dog only.

  • Prize must include a Saturday night stay.

  • Prize cannot be taken over the month of August or during Christmas, New Year, or public holidays.

  • Prize is valid for 12 months from the date winner is notified.

  • Winner will be asked to select 3 dates which suit to take their prize.

  • Winner must give at least 6 weeks notice in advance of their chosen travel dates.

  • Prize as detailed is subject to availability however if stated activities are unavailable on winner’s chosen dates, suitable alternatives of equal or greater value will be offered by prize provider.

  • Once a prize is booked it can NOT be amended or cancelled.

  • Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

TRAVEL

• Winner and family will receive return train travel to Edinburgh from winners’ nearest mainland UK station.

• Return transfers from Edinburgh train station to Accommodation is included.

• You must keep your dog on a lead for the duration of the train journey.

DOG

• Your dog must be vaccinated against Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given or has lapsed in validity, it needs to be administered at least 5 days prior to your dog’s treatments at daycare.

ACCOMMODATION

• Two nights stay in a pet friendly apartment .

• Only one pet is permitted to stay with the family.

• A credit or debit card must be used to check into the apartment for security reasons. This is standard practice to secure the room.

• Food and drink are NOT included in this prize and is at the cost of winner and family.

• Proof of dog vaccines must be submitted to the hotel prior to arrival.

VIP STAR PET PAMPERING SESSION

• Your dog will be booked into a dog daycare in Edinburgh for a full body groom and one treatment.

• The experience will last approximately three hours.

• Any other treatments are at the cost of the winner.

SECRET EDINBURGH TOUR

• Family will take part in guided tour of Edinburgh, whilst dog is in daycare.

• Tour will last approximately 2.5 hours.

• Dog is not permitted on the tour.

PAPPED POOCH SESSION

• Family, including your dog will take part in photo shoot on location in Edinburgh.

• Winner will choose which location to have their photographs taken from a list provided.

• Winner will receive 1 x professional print and 1 x photobook to keep.

• Photo shoot will take approximately 1 hour.

APPLE IPAD AIR

• Winner will receive 1 x Apple iPad Air 1 with 16GB, (non celluar/ no sim card).
