To celebrate the IGNITION Festival of Motoring coming to Glasgow's SECC from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August, STV has a fantastic prize bundle up for grabs for one lucky winner!

This brand new event will pay homage to some of the world’s finest motor sporting heroes, and will showcase all aspects of motoring.

You and a friend will start your weekend early with an overnight stay at the 5 star Cameron House on Thursday 4th August. You'll have the opportunity to relax and unwind with access to the Thermal Spa experience at The Spa at Cameron House and will be treated to a stylish dinner in the evening back at the hotel.

On Friday 5th August, your very own chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz S Class will arrive at the hotel to take you and your guest to the Ignition Festival of Motoring at the SECC, Glasgow.

On arrival you will enjoy a two course lunch and a bottle of wine at one of The Rotunda's restaurants - LaRotunda, Yen or Fino.

You'll then head over to the Ignition Festival of Motoring where you'll receive a show guide, wristband and have access to the grandstand. You and your guest will also enjoy a lap round the specially constructed street circuit with a stunt driver.

IGNITION certainly promises to be one of the most exciting weekends on this year’s motoring calendar. Iconic rally driver Jimmy McRae will inaugurate the specially constructed Street Circuit in Colin McRae’s original Subaru which is part of the special Colin McRae Tribute Collection. Red Bull Junior Team driver Sergio Sette Camara will be doing laps in the RB7 on Friday 5 August. On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August Scotland’s own Formula One star David Coulthard takes to the circuit with the Red Bull Racing Formula One Team, giving fans a unique opportunity to see and hear a Formula One machine up close.

Team Japspeed and driver Shane Lynch will also be there all weekend, showing off a host of drift demonstrations. The Top Gear Live Stunt team and The Stig will inject further thrills into IGNITION, alongside the displays of classic cars, supercars, rally cars, motorcycles and more.

Specific Rules

  • Ends 9am Monday 20th June
  • Entrants must be 18 or over
  • Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • 1 x winner will receive the following:

Overnight Stay

  • Overnight stay for two people sharing a room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond.
  • Dates: overnight stay on Thursday 4th August 2016 only
  • Travel to the hotel is NOT included. Winner and guest must make their own way to hotel.
  • Dinner can be taken at Cameron Grill or The Boathouse to the value of £35 allowance per person.
  • Winner and guest will also receive access to the Thermal Spa experience at the Carrick Spa
  • Any other food, drink and spa treatments are at the cost of the winner and guest.

Travel to Festival

  • Winner and guest will be picked up at Cameron House Hotel by a Mercedes Benz S Class car on Friday 5th August 2016 and taken to SECC, Glasgow where the festival with take place.

Lunch

  • Winner and guest will receive lunch at The Rotunda, Glasgow on Friday 5th August
  • Winner must dine at one of the following restaurants: LaRotunda, Yen or Fino.
  • Lunch includes: two courses each and a bottle of wine to share.
  • Any other food or drink consumed is at the cost of the winner and guest

Ignition Festival of Motoring

  • Winner and guest will enjoy one lap round each as a passenger on the street circuit with a stunt driver
  • Winner and guest must complete satisfactorily a health and safety form before taking part in the lap round the street circuit.

  • Winner and guest will receive a premium ticket which includes general admission, grandstand access, an Ignition show guide and wristband

  • Winner and guest must make their own travel arrangements from Ignition Festival to their home. Travel is NOT included in this part of the prize and is at the cost of the winner and guest.
